This galaxy is more "introductory" then anything else, with two normal stars, a prankster comet star, and three green stars. When Mario first blasts off into space, he lands here to get his first star. Notable things about this Galaxy include Yoshi's house, where he apparently isn't home (he appears in the next galaxy,) for he's out helping friends, additionally, he asks you to use the backdoor. Additionally, Pewee Piranha is at the end of this stage, waiting for any challengers, and there is a star fleet that arrives to back him up when he is defeated. The prankster comet in this galaxy is a speed run, ending with another battle with Pewee Piranha, this time with a ticking clock that will kill you if it runs out, making it more difficult then the normal fight.
