Based on the history of the franchise having guest characters from other games what would want or think they will include for the next installment?

For the Playstation version of Soul Calibur VI I have a feeling that Sony will do the obligatory Aloy. But the Hunter from Bloodborne would be a nice fit as well or 2B/A2 from Nier Automata.

Its a long shot but I would love Saber from Fate as well...

Also Majima Goro or Kazuma Kiryu would be hilarious additions...

It would obviously be a horrible fit in terms of design but we gave Mario a gun in 2017 so he should probably get a sword next.

I agree with you about all those choices, Puchiko. Hunter or 2B. But realistically, considering how it went for Monster Hunter, I also think it's gonna be Aloy for Sony.

If they do guests characters again, which they shouldnt, Playstation will probably be Kratos and Xbox could have some Killer Instinct character.

Knight Artorias, it's probably a much easier legal crossover than most.

After how Tekken 7 managed it's guests, I have no issue with guests in this game. Especially considering I think the core SC cast is quite lacking.

Guests character are going to happen. That's just part of fighting games. Curious is it'll be console exclusive characters or just general guests characters for all.

2B or a generic Hunter from Bloodborne are actually really good fits for that game though. I don't Aloy would work as well, considering how a big chunk of her repertoire is with ranged weapons.

All of that being said, the answer is always Scorpion.

The only Playstation character I'd be interested in is Aloy, honestly. She's the best of the Soul Calibur-feasible exclusive characters as far as actual characterization goes.

For Xbox... I don't know. The guy from Scalebound, maybe? Oh crap that's actually kind of cool. Let that character model see the light of day.

Lots of people want 2B, which would be great, but i feel like a full size 2B of similar scale to the other characters would look weirdly big.
I'm not really a fan of guest characters so non, Gene from God Hand doesn't use a weapon so he wouldn't fit here.

Push Warren

It's all Namco, so a Dark Souls character would be a cool addition for all platforms. Artorias, Solaire, maybe Ornstein. I think they had a Solaire costume in one game, but a full on character would be nice.

As far as platform exclusives go, Sony should get Joel from The Last of Us with a plank of wood and a pair of scissors. Or the Bloodborne Hunter, either one really. Link is the best pick for Nintendo, and for Xbox I have no idea. PC versions should totally get Geralt.

On that note, William from Nioh is from this year and would probably be a decent candidate. With a Katana he'd be pretty similar to Mitsurugi perhaps, but I could see the dual blade or odachi working out pretty well.

I would love a Fromsoft (Maria <3) character or 2B as well, so definitely not shitting on those choices. If Tekken hadn't already stolen him I could also have seen Noctis being in Soul Calibur.

I would be down with this. The fact the Hunter in MvC looked better than 90% of the cast was nuts.

But it also makes me want a Monster Hunter Fighting game.

Geralt of Rivia. I think Noctis Lucis would fit in Soul Calibur better then he would in Tekken.

I know the reveal trailer didn’t list the Switch as a platform for SC6, but I’m still holding on hope. I’d say either bring back Link or Lyn from Fire Emblem. I’m guessing for PS4 it will be a B.B. Hunter and XBOX gets Jago or Spinal from KI.

Sandor Clegane, The Hound, from Game of Thrones, period. Debate over. Hands down the best outside character they could possibly add, though, I could think of quite a few others that would also be cool: Elric wielding Stormbringer, Anomander Rake wielding Dragnipur, Several of the other Game of Thrones characters wielding their named sword. Perhaps Sandor should be wielding Heartsbane?

Geralt would also be cool.

Main character of NiOh would fit nicely, but honestly it'd be sweet to see FFVII remake Cloud and Sephiroth...or Alloy exclusively for Ps4...realistic banjo kazooie for Xbox, and Gordon Freeman for pc.

Lots of people want Artorius which would be cool, i think they'd have to shrink him though which could look a little odd, after having this discussion with my friends we all agree Geralt would be pretty awesome, though his flowing fighting style could look a little stiff in the SC system.
