When I saw the QL, I was very excited to see more of this, but it's been a bit quiet.

Has it got to a point where it's worth getting yet?

Kinda necroing this by saying: sorta. I was on the fence before seeing how it only had a sandbox mode, but when they played it on UPF last week I saw that they had added a lot more. Like a survival mode. I've played it for 13 hours now, and it is fun, although kinda sparse. Seeing how it takes a lot of resources building ships and such, it is a slow game. I bet it would be more fun working together with some friends, or have two teams based on different asteroids, battling it out.

So I'd say it is starting to be worth it.
