    Founded in Japan in 1995, SSD (Short for Shinsedai, or "new generation") Company primarily develops TV games and exercise-oriented toys and equipment. They stretched out into the console market in 2004 with the XaviXPORT.

    The company also licensed the XaviX's tecnology for the Japanese plug 'n' play consoles released between the 2000s and 2010s.
