I'm from South America too (Brazil). I have just sent Blizzard an E-mail asking this very same question, but it may take some days for an answer. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the spanish and portuguese versions of the game are 100% translated, hence, no english-speaking voice talent (bummer). Plus, you can't download the english version if you get the game digitally in our region (double bummer). I wish they change that later.
Anyway, whenever I get some response, I'll let you know.

@Costello:  really? this sucks. I was reading somewhere that once you buy the game you could download the english client.
I have no intention of playing the game in spanish. We are no indians, we know english.

Please report back. And if anyone knows something please post.

@velt: You may know it already, but it's confirmed. If you buy the Latin America version, you'll not have english language available. This is being wildly discussed in Blizzard Forums, and so far, there's just no response from Blizzard. So, unless they change it, you have to select North America as your region if you want the English version, and suffer from lag in multiplayer.

You can buy the NA version on their website and it will be in English. Though you will be connecting to the NA servers. Not sure what the lag is like from SA to NA.

I think you can download a "language pack" on their website, but I'm not sure.
