The best description of this game is that Strider and Shinobi made love to each other, but then you find out that SHODN's illegitimate father is really Spelunky.

I picked this up solely because of the QL and I couldn't be happier with the decision. This game is actually quite brilliant and manages to put in enough leeway that it makes the game fun for those who might not like the severity of a game like Spelunky but still ramps up th difficulty. Super fluid animations, just enough nostalgia tickling and a cherry picking of great mechanics from multiple genres makes this game way better than anyone would expect.

I've only played a half-hour and I'm perfectly happy with the $5 price tag. It'll also be interesting to see what sorts of levels end up on Steam Workshop.

TLDR: If you even think that this game might look like something you'd enjoy, get it.

I freaking love this game!

its great in small doses, play until you die which takes 10-15 mins for a run and turn it off. works pretty nice on keyboard too so it really good as a laptop game.
