    So over on SRK some guy posted the hitbox data for all of Makoto's moves... Well based off of the Karakusa hitboxes alone I'm gonna stop playing her. The post has an explination of hitboxes if you don't already know what it is or how to read them.

    I would have been happy with frame data, but they got hitbox data already? hot damn not even by the end of SF4 did we have that.

    @dudeglove: Thats strange, I thought everyone would really like her character design. Now, if they bring back the black gi/red scarf combo I'd be happy.
     
    Reading this pisses me off a lot. I've been dicking around with her a lot in training mode (though pulling off anything in a match yet is a nightmare) and I absolutely love her style of fighting. The thing is though, her moves are almost useless. Fukiage (the...almost...DP) is so slow to start up, you literally have to know when the opponent is GOING to jump. Hayate is never armour breaking, and also has a lot of start-up and no super-armour/invincibility (which makes no sense given some of the crazy properties of new moves in the game). Karakusa basically explains itself and is only ever viable in kara-karakusa form. Tsurugi I don't like, but I've been incorporating into combos and actually works quite well.
     
    Despite this though, almost all of her moves can have kara properties because of the stupid amount of command normals she has; her feints are wicked; and just playing around with things like dash cancelling and jump cancelling is pretty interesting.

    Her walk speed is ment to be slow, it was pretty bad in 3s, but in SSFIV it's ridiculous. Also why does she have less than 1000 stamina!? lame.

    Makoto is no joke when handled with skill. Her dash speed is insane, both backwards and forwards. Plus she's hella strong. It takes me a while to warm up with her, but when  in the groove she's a wrecking ball.

    Ya I've been fucked up hard by a couple Makotos.  But also fucked up a couple Makotos.  So basically what I'm trying to say is... whatever.

    @GetEveryone: Yeah her kara-Karakusa is really the only way to go but it's stupid hard to pull off. I've done it once in the 5 hours I've practiced it in training mode.
