Cacpom has finally announced the date for AE 12. The FREE update will be available on December 13th for 360 and PS3.

And... about AE 2012.... We'll release 13th December on PSN and XBL!! Of couse "Free!!" ;D Thanks for fans cheering!! ;D

Still curious on when it's coming to Arcades in Japan. Hopefully it's not too far off.

I dunno. There was something about Arcade Edition that soured me on Street Fighter IV, and not just the part where everyone online was Yun either. I will download this update, and I will play it over the holiday break, certainly. But I think I'm done with playing it in earnest.

I dont even see the point in buying AE.. I bought sf4.. then super came out and i had to buy it as it added alot more stuff and evened out the shittyness of certain things.. Now AE which nerfed some things and added 2 characters i could care less for and 2 characters I could care even less for.. As long as Zangief has a 5foot grab radius and cammy keeps up her impossibly awesome invulnerable kicks then I will stick to just Super..

@JJOR64: What changes are on the horizon for this new version?

@Napalm: There are a ton of changes. Near the end of November Capcom is going to release a list of all the changes. Right now a lot of the changes are in older posts here on Giant Bomb.

It comes out in arcades a week before it hits xbl and psn. And why the hell did they nerf fuertes stun thats crazy!

Haha, I thought this was going to be another paid for version.
