So I've played about 8 hours or so of Super Street Fighter 4, and it's frozen at least half a dozen times on me. I don't know if it's my internet connection, but even if it was it shouldn't freeze the game to the point where I have to quit out and reboot iyt. It always happens in exactly the same spot. Righyt after ranked matches where your being awarded your PP and such it freezes on that screen. Any one else have this problem and maybe have a solution or an idea what's going on. PS3 version by the way. Also it freezes no where else, just after ranked matches are done.

Hm, I hope it isn't related to the 3.30 update problems people have been having.  I still can't play Heavenly Sword.  =(

I've had no problems with the PS3 version, but days after downloading firmware 3.30 my PS3 got the "red screen of death" today which I was able to fix by reinstalling the update via USB drive.

I'm not a PS3 aficionado but I'm certain that your aren't experiencing lag.  Anytime I have log it will start freezing frames ever few seconds until the connection catches back up.  It should never lock up entirely.  Like rjay69 mention, lots of people have complained about weird issues with the new PS3 update.  Wonder if it has anything to do with your model and the combination of the patch.  I was going to suggest that maybe the disc is scratched but I'm not sure how much the disc spins up on PS3 installs. When a game is installed on a 360 the disc is hardly ever used other than for the DRM check.  How does PS3 work?

Well it's completley scratch free the disc, and it's the only game I've had issues with. It's a original 60GB model though.

@LiquidPrince:   If the game has an optional install, try that and see what happens.  I haven't had any issues with the 360 version.

@JJOR64: It does have an optional install, and I installed first thing when I got it. The disc is scratch free, and seems fine, but it only freezes after Ranked matches. Not always, but at least 6 times now.

@LiquidPrince:   I'm not sure then since I don't have the PS3 version.  Have you tried hitting the Capcom Unity forums to see if anyone is having the same issue?
