Since the steam copy doesn't seem to have a manual I had a couple of questions I was hoping to get help with.

    1. Does armor change a spell's effectiveness? If not then mage types should be able to wear whatever, right? I can't find a stat for this anywhere in the menus.
    2. Is there a way to hotkey a spell to the right hand? For example, let's say I hotkey a spell to 1. When I press 1, that spell will be assigned to my left hand. Is there a way to have the spell assigned to my right hand without having to pause?

Armor has no benefit to spells unless it blatantly says so. Like 50% improved magicka regeneration. So yes you can wear heavy armor, or anything you like.

When in the quick select menu just hover over a spell and click the desired numerical button, it will remember your spell combo for specific hands.

I'm not getting this at all. Whenever I hit a spell hotkey it always goes to the left hand. However, I've discovered that if I hit the hotkey a second time it will be assigned to the right hand. It's kind of obnoxious but it works.
