Fucking preorderd the PC game at EB since I thought the guy said it was a cloth map. Well its twice as thick and textured...Whatever.... WHY THE FUCK CANT I INSTALL FROM THE FUCKING DVD? Its got a fucking Steam unlock key (was going to get it there anyway) But its Dloading the whole fucking game! So my DVD is worth fuck all.....43 more mins....

Come on...... you didn't see that coming?

...Did you put the DVD in before you entered the key? It would have (or should have) installed from the disc had you done that. All steamworks games I've bought from retail have worked that way.

No cant say I did. How does it not load anything from the fucking DVD...

Why do people still not understand they would probably get more help, and people being nice to them if they didn't act so hostile?

@xobballox: I didnt even know it was linked to steam or I wouldnt have wasted my time at EB. Put the DVD in, launcher comes up, asks for key, then it starts dloading the whole game. Tried twice......

@Artemesia: Shhhhhh....That used to be a clinical term >.> Wasnt ment to be offensive....Though it is a moronic way to install from a DVD. Guess its been a while since I bought a PC game from a store...

That's unfortunate that they didn't make it install from the disc automatically instead of having to jump through hoops. Rage's disc install worked automatically, by contrast (thank God for that, at ~21 gigs).
