The Tuatha Deohn are a sect of the Fae Court of Winter who played their part in the Great Cycle until changes came to the mortals of Amalur, and to the Tuatha Deohn as well.
A Tuatha Deohn called Gadflow slew the High King of winter and claimed the throne for himself. Gadflow scorned the old Gods of nature, devoting himself instead to a new god arising beneath the mountains of Alabastra, one that armed the Winter Fae with deadly weapons forged of prismere crystal. Having built himself an army of zealots, Gadflow did something that had been unthinkable for a Fae: he marched against the Alfar, and began the Crystal War.
