Vampyr and the Constant Innovation of Narrative Design 0

Dontnod (the studio that in the past released Life is Strange and Remember Me) went their darkest, moodiest and most ambitious route with 2018's Vampyr and it pays of at (almost) every corner.Vampyr is truly impressive in using its smaller studios limited resources to make a game that really comes across like the immersive period piece that it set out to portray. Taking place in a living city style open-world (a la Dragon Age 2's albeit unpopular model) Vampyr takes a risk by having you spend up...

So then, who was the worst on screen depiction of Dracula? Was it Richard Roxburgh and his anaemic whiff of flatulence in Van Helsing, or maybe that guy from prison break who I can’t remember the name of in Blade: Trinity who played him as the world’s most disinterested street thug? Vampyr is a delightfully bleak narrative experience 0

Vampyr gets a lot of mileage out of its twisted afflictions, combining the 1918 influenza outbreak, more commonly known as the "Spanish flu," with a vampire scourge that has brought the city of London to its knees. Still Bloodthirsty... 0

Vampyr is set in a bleak world where a plague is forming and turning people into Vampires. The environments and soundtrack really makes you realize just how much the City of London is really suffering, every corner you turn sadness and turmoil isn't far behind. One of our personal favourite features in the game and one of which we feel has to be mentioned is the use of the 'L3' button, in which gives you an idea of where nearby npc are located as well as giving you a somewhat detailed insight as t...

    Doctor Who are you? 0

I think the vibe is authentic. Captures London pretty well, even now. The beginning of the game very excellent, if you want a great immersive experience this is for you.Action mechanics are good, but i'm not that good at this in games, i found them satisfying. The balance between action and choices is good. The characters are interesting, with a plot involving diversity of people, science and the supernatural, with a core of English history. ...
