" @Rewcastle:   That's the thing to me though.    They didn't at all suggest there was any new maps.   Personally, I can't think of a concise way to say what it is exactly without someone possibly misunderstanding it.   Calling it "additional content/add on" would just make people say, "There was nothing added on it's all just stuff that was already on the disc."  I think they way they handled it was just fine. "

Yeah. Its hard to call it something without people bitching. I can't think of anything 100% risk free to call it, but then again thats not my job. I'm sure one of the guys there could come up with something though. I would love to be proven wrong by someone posting the true definition of a map pack or something. Just to settle this. Until then i'm gonna take the tree hugging route and say no one is wrong as of yet

"Map pack" for me just means something involving maps.  New maps, old maps, existing maps, whatever. As long as it does something for/to a map, then it's a map pack.    Hmmm.....maybe they could have called it a "map content" pack, since it adds content to maps.

I know one thing......I sure never expected to post this much on the meaning of "map pack."  :p
