isn't this just every other zombie mode in call of duty but with aliens?

Now all they need is sharks(even ghost ones), skeltons and swords and they have every genre covered. Maybe a bit of magic.

The thing I'll say that makes it look a bit different is that it looks like it'll be more of a "base defense" mode, where to get really high in zombies you need to move around and not just hole up in one spot.

Which obviously isn't a giant difference but matters to me for sure (and positively so).

I began this console gerneration with Modern Warfare, I never bought another COD game. Now it's the time for me to purchase this for my PS4... Also that it runs in 60FPS 1080p on Ps4, I also need something to play... So... why not? :3

Looks dull, just like zombie mode in the other call of duty games.

These never feel fun it feels like your stuck in an endless unaltering cycle of the same waves of enemies over an over again I think a mode like this really needs a strong random element to be enjoyed more than once.

These game modes usually only have one way to win and it's usually tedious and uninteresting, the premise is always interesting but the problem is it lacks any kind of character or reason,

it's a meat grinder with all the enjoyment that entails.

End of the campaign should set up the alien invasion

It's clear that Infinity Ward isn't what it used to be. Wasn't Zampella vehemently opposed to adding in any super-fantastical elements to the IW CoD games?

Either way, this can only be good for the game. I've always loved Treyarch for the insane amound of love and passion they put in to each game, and IW's games were always a little barebones and empty in comparison. Maybe this IW-helmed CoD will be the best, since they get to start from scratch and make it their own.

Wait, Call of Duty? The military shooter that's all about showing warfare from multiple perspectives to make the in game conflict seem more meaningful and less about going down a corridor and shooting dudes because some voice on the radio said so? Oh, ok. Fair enough.

These shooters are getting schizophrenic. There's the corridor-shooter campaign that they all have to have now for some reason, the multiplayer with a bunch of deathmatch modes just in case shooting people wasn't fun enough and the coop mode with its own bag of tricks. Three distinct, different games in one.

1. Nice to see that there's a female soldier, and I'm assuming she is playable, which is cool.

2. Nice to see something that isn't Zombies, even if this will basically be IW's version of Zombies.

I know that's supposed to be a play on Call of Duty but I can't help but think of it as a play on Call of Juarez instead.

I feel like Call of Duty is pulling a Saints Row without being self-aware enough to realize what it's doing.

self-awareness is so 1990's... get with the times.

It looks like it could be fun, at least there looks like there are elements of strategy and objectives, and hints that you can survive and escape. I enjoy the BLOPS Zombies mode, but the fact that there is no chance of survival makes me bored of it early.

This game will rightfully make more money than The Last of Us because it's just a better game.

Just turn these dumb side-modes into the core game instead.

Seriously, go all-out on it. Dinosaurs, giant bugs, ghosts, sharks, ghost sharks, laser sharks, zombies, orcs, whatever you want.

You guys are missing the whole point here. Remember when Halo: Reach came out and everyone was all like, yo, Ghost from Modern Warfare 2 survived and is somehow a future soldier and fights aliens? This guy?

This is the game that bridges the series.

This is the only logical conclusion. I would buy the fuck out of this for real. This co-op mode sounds like it'll be fun though.

I'd be way back into CoD if the campaign had aliens in it.

Zombies never really clicked with me, so maybe this updated "Aliens" version will. I do like aliens more than zombies, that's for sure.
