The added control over town stuff as mayor definitely looks neat, and the island could be a cool addition if it isn't too small. But what will actually sell me on this is if they've continued limiting villager interaction like they've done in every game since the Gamecube release. As stupid and a little of a thing as it is, being able to reliably get a task from a neighbor really does give you something to do in AC that isn't just catch fish as bugs.

Also I'm curious to see if/how gardening was expanded at all cause it being limited to making hybrid flowers was neat but really didn't require you to actually do anything other than just wait for some new flowers to bloom.

I REALLY want this game to be good because the last 2 games have just been so... they've been the same game as the original with some incremental improvements in some areas but limiting other things that I actually cared about.

This is pretty much exactly my thoughts. I never quite understood what I felt was missing from the DS and Wii version, but this was it.

There's a comment by Shawn Elliott on the GFW Brodeo back in the day where he makes the case for everyone who likes Animal Crossing being at least somewhat autistic.

It was highly offensive, and highly hilarious. I wish I could find the exact quote. I'll have to do some research.

Its a shame he is out of the podcasting game. This one about him griefing in GTA multiplayer kills me

Animal Crossing and Timesplitters 2 were my two favorite games on the Gamecube, definitely will buy this.

This has to be also a downloadable title. You don't want to carry a game around to boot it daily for a brief moment...

I haven't played AC since the GameCube version (which I played a LOT of). Will probably get this, looks like it's adding some interesting things with the Mayor duties.

Also, I can't wait for some KK Dubstep.

I'm in the same position, and I'm suddenly really excited about getting back into it.
