On the one hand, putting another Batman character into Injustice pisses me off. On the other hand, a good fighting game character is a good fighting game character and Batgirl looks like she'd be pretty fun to play as.

wow. another awesome trailer! can't wait til my next pay check, when i can buy the season pass. i love most /more of DC Characters then Marvel, so this, DCUO and Infinite Crisis(WB's new MOBA) are like candy to me. although i have been enjoying Marvel Heroes(MUA3/Marvel Diablo) Beta and can't wait for the launch. between the movies and games, it's like Comic Book Heaven on Earth.

and whose to say they won't have skins packs for DLC characters, Marvel vs Capcom did.. can't wait to find out the other two DLC characters, however rumor is the last one is Scorpion. 3rd one should be Clayface so we can get some Shang Tsung action up in here.

If I'm remembering "The Killing Joke" correctly, I think it was implied that the Joker also raped her. I don't know how I feel about this as DLC.

@frostedminiwheats : In the recent New 52 continuity, she somehow got unparalyzed. It's really dumb, Barbara was best as Oracle, Stephanie Brown Batgirl 4ever.

Yeah. I took it as if they were trying to say "this thing happened in the comic books 25 years ago" and "this other thing is happening in the game now", not implying they were part of the same continuity or anything. They just did a bad job at it.

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm guessing they've pulled some rendering trickery to present it at its best.

Batgirl/Barbara Gordon is not paralyzed anymore in the New 52. She has regained the use of her legs.

I can't think of another hero with a Rogues' Gallery as interesting as Batman's (Except maybe Flash; Weather Wizard!) and without looking at Smash Brothers style mirrors, I can't think of too many heroes that could fit in the holes.

It is pretty dumb, but nothing that happens in comics are permanent and in a game with parallel universes it is entirely possible that it's not the same Batgirl.

I'm not a comic book guy either though so maby she got unparalyzed or something.
