Building the Bastion: Part 05

PC version = SOLD!

I love this feature. I loved seeing the process of making a game from a very personal view. It's really neat and I can't wait to check out this game. It reminds me of Lunar Knights or something.

At first I was pretty uninterested in this game, but I have to say the finished product looks really cool. Can't wait to play the final product on XBL.

Great video!  Just don't forget about a PS3 version so I can give you my money!

I have always enjoyed listening to Greg K, So with that in mind i had huge interest in Bastion from the start but the game looks to have far outweighed my expectations and I cannot wait to play this.
 
That what is great about XBLA we get games like this that remind me of my younger days as a kid as this is what games were like except with poor graphics, Developers had to use more imagination and i love the style of this game, It really is a beautiful game.
 
Cannot wait to pick this up, I am assuming this will be part of summer of arcade, Be great if this game was released the night of MS press event or during E3.

As soon as they announce a PS3/PSN version, I'm in!!!

All really interesting stuff. Thank you Supergiant and Giantbomb for this amazing series. This kind of original content is a massive boon for the site.

They said at the very start of this process that they can't objectively review Bastion, because they've followed the development from start to finish (and because one of their old GameSpot buds is leading the charge), so they're not going to even try.

"Got the achievement"? You mean there's an achievement for playing the demo then buying the game or just buying the game?

This has been a really really awesome running feature at GB. It's great to see behind the scenes at how the stuff we love gets done.

YES! I can't wait for the PC version. That's pretty much the biggest news for me in this (awkward) half hour.

I just want to say there was zero chance I was going to buy this game, but because of these videos, I'll be buying it day 1.
 
Edit:  As promised, I bought it yesterday.  Only got about an hour in, but I  did enjoy what I played.

Such a beautiful game, but the GUI is a bit odd, disconnected from the great, hand-drawn world.

I want to thank Giant Bomb and the developers for doing the incredible in depth 5 part series... It was incredible to be able to see the emotions, hardwork and especially getting to see Jen doing the artwork... I do not currently own a 360, but will get it on PC or PSN... but I wish you nothing but success... Def some talented individuals... hopefully they make some money so they can start another project! -4DX

@Troncek: You mean the standard xbla menu? Thats an XBLA requirement that they all look the same, honest. No menu no xbla..

No, I mean the actual in-game UI for weapons and stuff. It's kinda strange and big and weird. :)
