The video game tie in for House of Cards?

Posted by Alucitary

Fuck yo commute.

Posted by therealminime

Will play for Digital Kevin Spacey.

Posted by Morningstar

Haha, how weird.

Edited by KillNGer

I thought Frank Underwood was a Killzone man...

Better graphics doesn't change the design of the game itself. Hopefully they make more changes gameplay wise.

Eh he played COD in the first season.

Posted by jvalenti57

@killnger: Nah Frank plays Call of Duty, but he does it on Playstation

Posted by Besetment

Prepare for. . .oh, forget it.

Call of Duty: bringing you the most scintillating graphics of 2014 and the most scathing political commentary of 2005.

If only this were some how tied into House of Cards that'd make it sooo much better.

Stll waiting for sarcastic remarks to Nintendo game but no one in the games media has balls, so ill retort:

Looks like we'll being saving princess peach... again.

Looks like we'll be driving along rainbow road...again.

Looks like everything they have done from the n64 system....again.

Edited by Shakey1245

My favourite thing about this is seeing people refer to it as House of CODs.

By the time season 10 of House of Cards rolls out it will probably be indistinguishable from this.

Posted by mrfluke

id like to think this takes place long after house of cards ends, and this is where frank underwood ends up.

Posted by Mr_Skeleton

You know, I don't think this will be the year COD fails. I don't like COD and this looks damn cool.

Edited by ObsideonDarman

As I'm sure many of you have said already. Only in it for Digital Spacey.

Okay, first of all, where is this coming from and how does it have anything to do with House of CODs?

Second, everyone in the games media makes sarcastic remarks about Nintendo. Constantly. It seems like it's practically part of their job requirements at this point. In order to be in the game industry currently you basically have to be completely over everything Nintendo is doing.

I don't understand...

I will support K. Spacey in all his endeavours, regardless of platform.

Its terrible, just so agonizing terrible.

Posted by Pezen

Man, just a slight change in tone and dialect and I just don't see Frank Underwood there at all. Spacey is such a terrific actor.

The game looks like a mix between Titan-free Titanfall and Black Ops. But at the same time, looks like s well walked safe path. I'm sure it'll be a competent game though.

Posted by Glottery

Just like the cinematic, actiony trailer of Watch_Dogs, this didn't do much for me either. I remember getting so hyped after seeing the trailer for Modern Warfare 2 back in the day...getting old, I guess.

Posted by Willza92

Putting Kevin Spacey in your video game is a damn fine way of getting me to play your video game. Facial and body animation looks great but the eyes are SO DEAD. It's like looking into the eyes of a corpse that is walking and talking.

Oh, and the rest of it looks like more black ops 2.

You're waiting for some dumb snarky comment to inevitably appear, but then it never appears, so you make the dumb snarky comment yourself. Internet!

Bets on this opening the Microsoft Press Conference?

Posted by TheDigitalistic

House of CoDs.

Posted by sccdemir

Oh god yes. I'm so excited. Kevin Spacey is doing video games! I love seeing being names get involved in game development!

Posted by avantegardener

Left trigger to Kevin, Right trigger to Spacey.

Posted by Chris2KLee

So... They watched a lot of House of Cards and the documentary Shadow Company?

Edited by Sanj

I really wish they spent more resources on better facial animation. Usually it wouldn't bother me, but Kevin Spacey is a great actor and with current technology allowing games to look as good as they do, I just think what's the point of getting someone like him and putting his image in a game with cut-scenes that are meant to replicate live-action if his performance is going to be gimped to such a degree, with those dead eyes and unnatural mouth movements etc...It's especially irksome since I know excellent facial animation is possible nowadays with games like Infamous Second Son.

Posted by BLKZOMBIE

I'm calling it - You WILL be able to play as Frank Underwood in CoDAW multiplayer for the low price of gross-ass DLC.

Posted by morrelloman

I knew it was going to be set in the Future, but I didn't know they were gonna make it all...Spacey

Posted by gektech

just 6.99 for kevin spacey multiplayer skin

Posted by paulunga

Not gonna lie, this looks interesting. And I haven't played one of these games since CoD 4. Though Blops 2 was pretty good as well, according to Jeff?

Posted by spraynardtatum

I need to see gameplay. It's definitely seems like a more interesting direction but that was 95% cutscene.

Posted by jbuchan76

It kinda makes me laugh, every time I say i'm done with COD, they put out a trailer like this one, and i'm like OMG OMG OMG .. I so want to play this.. Their marketing really works.. :)

Posted by cikame

Looks good :D.

Posted by gbrading

Well Kevin Spacey is one thing, the game is another.

Edited by militantfreudian

I'm finding it unsettling how positive the response is to something COD related. In all seriousness though, the trailers wasn't bad -- actually, I watched it twice.

Posted by Anwar

Kevin Spacey's video game persona has more textures and more details than models for characters had in the previous gen, but he has extremely dead eyes and no facial animation at all, this looks terrible

Posted by conmulligan

This looks an awful lot like Black Ops 2.

Edited by HistoryInRust

All of the usual suspects for a Call of Duty game are present.

Posted by CairnsyTheBeard

I Wish high brow actors would invest their time in more story centric videogames instead of the big obvious ones where they would be least needed or appreciated, such as COD campaign :S! I want Spacey in a telltale or naughty dog game for petes sake!

Posted by Sidfiou

Some bridges need to learn to stay down...

Posted by CairnsyTheBeard

@willza92: Maybe hes meant to have dead eyes eh?.....eh?.......ye.

Posted by jkz

That Spacey diatribe could have been so much better. Call of Duty needs it some better writers if it wants to pull off a narrative with any sort of real emotional heft to it.
