So I guess ATLUS really did confirm his name as Yu Narukami, despite the fandom having already known him as Souji Seta for years... oh well.

Why does it matter?  Souji Seta = name in manga Yu Narukami = name in anime  Same difference.

You can tell that the Chie player is tournament-tier because they never cast Bufu.

Yu Narukami is pretty much his official name now that he's been called that in this game.    I've always told people to disregard the manga, since the Persona team is not involved with that thing at all. Its basically glorified fan fiction.

@FluxWaveZ: The same reason people on this site semi-ironically cling to Charlie Tunoku?  The(english-speaking) fanbase is attached and used to associating the name "Souji" to the face  with the P4 MC.

This made me start watching the persona 4 ER, the more i watch of that ER the more i want this game.

How can you disagree? This is a game. How is this not a game? This is a video game website. You know that, right?

I'm gonna be mad if chie doesn't have a steak special attack noneless ill pick this up while i wait for my  PS4 remake and PS5 :)

I still got love for the Persona 4 world and characters. I hope there's more story elements in this fighter to expand on the fiction. And  unlike Jeff I think ARC makes mostly good fighting games. In other words, I'll be playing it.

If you're implying that everyone who loves Persona 4 here loves it because of the Endurance Run, you're a hypocrite.

I'm happy everyone "loves" a game, but the level of protectiveness some people go to is just... creepy. I made a (bad) joke and got barked at for it. Jesus. It's not like I burned all your Charlie fan fiction or anything.

Calm down, children. It doesn't matter who on this site will actually play it. Just the fact that you're willing to have this random shouting match about the game is proof enough of its relevance to GB users. Besides, whether or not anyone's interested had nothing to do with why it was posted. Jeff clearly saw the trailer, thought of a joke, wasn't presented with a contextual excuse to tell it to Vinny in a real conversation, and decided he didn't want to wait for that opportunity to arise naturally. So not wanting to sit on the joke for an indeterminate amount of time, he resorted to the roundabout method of posting this video on the site as an excuse to use the joke he thought up as the tag line.

Wow, chie has a really girly voice in Japanese. Not a fan.

As much as I like persona 4, this seems entirely pointless.

It's the Shoryuken from Street Fighter; I presume that the 'HP' he wrote is him using the old terminology of "Hard Punch" in this instance.

I like fighting games, however, i don't like P4 so i won't be buying this .

Looks potentially pretty awesome. As long as Japan keeps making strange stuff like this and we get it here in NA, I'm happy.

@Lind_L_Taylor: I don't know. I mean, I am definitely not into anime (honestly, I could probably name some but I don't think I've ever seen legit anime before) and I think this game looks pretty cool. The developer seems to have a knack for making great 2-D art and the Endurance Run of Persona 4 made me fall in love with that game. I'm not even a fighting game fan and I can honestly see myself picking this up.

@Lind_L_Taylor: I rarely watch anime, never play fighting games, yet I'll be getting this game ASAP. Keep generalizing if you want, though.
