Cyborg Lady Dispenses Isometric Justice in Bombshell

I don't think that's a bad thing. The game reminds me of the original Xbox game, Hunter The Reckoning. It, too was an isometric twin stick character shooter. I don't know how Bombshell controls, but if it's as much fun as Hunter was back in the day, for 20 bones, I'd bite.

Allegedly this was supposed to be a duke nuke'em game but they didnt manage to retain the rights so his new female sidekick is the main character in Bombshell.

well that was certainly better than the first trailer. woah.

anyway, there was some pretty good animation in there especially on the enemies, and the level art doesnt look bad in areas either, who knows!

I figured this would be immensely worse looking given that teaser they put out awhile back.

Something about the choice of colour and high dynamic range makes this hard for me to look at. Like they wanted it to really "pop" off the screen, but when everything pops it gets too busy and looks like bleurgh.

Didn't this have a weird trailer like a year ago that we all kind of laught at?

The music was nice but it doesn't really go with the game.

Isometric Tomb Raider games were good but this one seems to lack the puzzle/co op stuff. Certainly not a game to get hyped for without a Quick Look.

I waited 30 seconds for a heavy metal riff to kick in at the end. Severely disappointed.

Dunno... I like girls, cyborgs and bombs.

You make this crazy cyborgy shootery thing and you make the lead's name... Shelly? I hope I'm hearing that wrong.

Maybe it's cause that first trailer for this game was really something special in a bad way, but this game is actually looking kind of interesting.

The aesthetic seems appropriate for a developer that peaked in the mid 90s.

Leave it to 3D Realms to make something completely mediocre.

I'm sure they're not, but I want to believe that at around the 27 second mark the demonic choir are actually singing "I-SO-MET-RIC!"

Damn, so much cynicism for this. I think it looks like a decent bit of fun, would definitely pick it up at some point if it hit steam.

I think this looks like it could be really fun, or a complete trainwreck. I hope it's fun. Seems like a cheesy throwback action game, which I am totally fine with. Also, wow it really hangs on that logo at the end of that trailer huh? lol

If it's anything like the Iso Lara Croft games I'll be okay with that.

Somehow looks a bit like dragon age, or maybe thats just me.

I dig the ludicrous revolver design, but there doesn't really seem to be much to it from the video.

If it turns out that it's Diablo with guns, it might be cool.

The original trailer was underwhelming but this gameplay trailer looks very solid. I really like explosive bayhem action and the polished visuals. The retro cyberpunk aesthetics looks nice but the story stuff sounds uninspired and generic. Still can't wait to check it out when it gets here

Well, that absurdly generic trailer was way better than their last one, at least. Their last one being one of the worst trailers I've ever seen, but still. This boring, styleless, non descriptive one was still better than that.

(also, did they awkwardly repeat the word "Shelley" a bunch to imply that the name of this game is also a pun?! Perfect!)

There was barely a single Stargate reference in this video. After the first one, I was hoping for more Daniel Jackson's Whiskey.
