Also, you'll be able to import your previously purchased DLC into the PS4/Xbone version!

Who is Giant Bomb Staff?

Also, I'll be picking up the PS4 version of this.

I'm actually kind of interested.

But no PC version? :(

I want to see awkward body physics in 1080p 60FPS

It's about damn time that baby started pulling his own weight!

Last Round? I wonder.

WHERE IS STEAM VERSION

Edited by Devil240Z

I wonder if they will ever do a new volley ball game on new gen stuff...

Edited by BasketSnake

I don't play DOAS OR MOBAS!

Edited by RVonE

Awkward as the body physics may be, DOA has a very robust and fast-paced fighting system that is worth playing.

Damn it, where's my new-gen 'Dead or Alive Xtreme 3'?

Oh definitely.

I find it to be at least as much fun to play as to make fun of.

I would be more interested in this if they didnt release all of the new characters as dlc already. (Nyotengu comes out in a couple of days and that's the last one)

Last Round? I wonder.

Yeah you'd think "Ultimate" would be the last one.

Good work today, Giant Bomb Staff. We'll keep your effort in mind when it comes time for your annual review.

I know, right? There's a disturbing lack of lack of clothes (you read that right) in this console generation.

The game is $39.99 for XB1 and PS4. PS3 and 360 versions is $29.99 and digital only. Your DLC will carry over to the new version.

This game is misleadingly named. Why is it called Dead or Alive when all of the characters live to fight in the next installment?

Posted by LiquidPrince

Nice. Glad I didn't pick up Ultimate. Was waiting for a PS4 version.

YOU ARE THE WORST PERSON.

For real though, the OP is also 100% right, except the omission where just playing the game makes me feel like a total scumbag from the horrible representation of women.

I like to think of it as more of a celebration of the possibilities of the female form.

And what a celebration it is giggity giggity giggity goo

Wish more people would look past the physics and girls and give this series a shot! Very fun fighting game (also you can turn the physics off). I'm getting the PS4 version and still play on ps3 regularly. If you want to play, add me! MP_Geist

I forgot DOA 5 existed, actually, even though I liked 2-4 a lot.

And yeah, the anime boob quotient is pretty weird, but they are fun games.

Edited by Mr_Creeper

Giant Bomb Staff, eh?

I got good money on all the "staff" being hung over from Labor Day weekend, and this is some sentient, trailer-posting robot created to do the busy work.

Everyone stays alive until the series is dead.

Edit: Screw Tecmo Koei. I fell for DOA5 Collector's Edition, Then got DOA5 Ultimate, and then bought each of the new characters, including one that just came out TODAY, along with more costume DLC than I want to admit. Tecmo Koei has reached my breaking point, I refuse to get DOA6 until DOA7 is released. That's how little I trust them now.

Advice for the day: do not try to bring the thunder while you're in a bathing suit.

How many versions is this now? Are we ahead of or tired or behind SFIV in versions at this point? And why does the fighting community put up with this?
