Wow, this looks like an N64 game. The textures beamed in from 1993. Just look at it at 0:50.

Did he really say he can unlock shortcuts with his mind reading? Who the hell wrote that into the script. It may play out like..... you see a treasure chest on the other side of a large fence. you know that if you travel down the fence a few miles there will be a gate. If only there was a shorter way... nearby a farmer is watching you. He thinks to himself. "I sure do hope that guy doesnt climb that fence and take my treasure"..........AHA!!!!!

The script is just... bloody awful... I hope it's more fun to play than these trailers are to watch. The more I see of this game the more I'm not sure I want to unleash the dragon within in a month. Maybe this dragon needs to stay confined in whatever drank hole it's currently in.

You're thinking of Beyond Divinity, which did come out years ago.

Well....the story does seem awful. The voice acting is awful. But it's a WRPG out of continental Europe, so what are you gonna do?
 
I'm still holding out for the gameplay to be good.

I think Divinity is a pretty cool guy, eh unlocks secrets and doesnt afraid of anything.

Especially if it's in first person. It might almost be acceptable if he was saying 'you' as the player. But it's "I'm able to take shortcuts and unlock secrets" which is just a horrible line.
 
Part of what made classic CRPGs so bearable was the lack of voice acting. They never sound like jackasses in your imagination.

Way to capture the atmosphere with "...I can unlock secrets and find shortcuts...". The game is already out here in Germany and had some good reviews.

I think this game is great, if not a little broken. Its not just easy mode and doesnt hold your hand like most modern day RPGs, this thing kicks your ass :)
 
Silly to miss out on a good game cause of a poorly concived trailer, thats just as daft as getting excited about a game cause of a decent looking trailer :p
