E3 2012: See Jehuty in 1080p with this ZOE Collection

Did anyone else notice the Kinect name in the copyright at the end? What kind of Kinect integration are they doing?

I am really really really really really really excited for this. Still get goosebumps thinking about the airship fleet level in The 2nd Runner.

I was hoping for some HD gameplay footage, not a ZOE 2 AMV. Also, I don't remember Jehuty having an erect cock-pit during combat. Also: what's up with Floaty McMelons?

Up to date, there has been no game to match or even surpass the fluidity of mecha combat ZOE2, at least for me. So I'm really excited that a HD remake is coming. Hopefully this time it gets the attention it deserves, cause its a really awesome game from last gen.

Without spoiling too much, ZOE2 had the epic ending battle right? I distinctly remember being in awe that the PS2 was capable of the scale of that battle.

Also, fucking MGS2 demo that came with it got played entirely too much in my house.

@RockmanBionics: First thing I did was rewatch that trailer after seeing this. I hadn't play ZOE 1 and that trailer was my first introduction to the game. Blew me the hell away.

Why let Sunrise make your opening video? They haven't learned any new tricks since those godawful Transformers shows in the early 2000s and it SHOWS. Ugh, I prefer the nonsense anime/in-game tech demo in the original PS2 games to this crap. God...I'd prefer to have a video of Hideo tapdancing rather than sit through another poorly pre-rendered CG clip.

In the end I should just be glad that Hideo even remembers and cares about this IP enough to re-release it. Snatcher, on the other hand... :(

EDIT: Actually, a video of Hideo in suit, tie, and a tophat tap dancing would be the greatest thing ever.

That was ridiculous in a way only anime can get. I'm excited to play this after missing them the first time around.

That song...what the hell? It felt like every instrument was taken from another song and then all just happened to mash together rhythmically.

Oh well, just happy that I actually might be able to play a ZOE.

Actually, after watching the trailer again, I think the original ZOE: The 2nd Runner trailer was way better than this. And being a ZOE Collection clip, it hardly shows anything from the first ZOE.

I wonder why all the robots have penises?

Totally agree. ZOE games were some of my favs from last gen.
