Bethesda makes really good single player RPG's, and should probably just stick to that. I'm not sure why they feel the need to take on Blizzard on their own turf. Blizzard has the CCG and subscription based MMO market on lockdown. I suspect this will do about as well as ESO did to cut into Blizzard's marketshare. Personally, I don't really feel like the world of Elder Scrolls has strong enough characters or the type of art design to do well in this space.

Why does every trend in gaming right now have to be a genre that I have absolutely no interest in? Is this a sign that I'm getting too old?

This game will be dead before it reaches 6 months probably.

So this is why Bethesda wanted to sue Notch into "Oblivion"?

Honestly, I think it'll come down to how the actual game-play of it is.

Which they've told us nothing about.

@mitch0712: Even the animation is the same to the Hearthstone launch trailer. It is almost exact.

The art for this doesn't remind me of any Elder Scrolls at all. It looks like art from some knock off bootleg game that came out of an unknown mobile developer in Asia. The most generic looking, washed down stuff I can imagine.

Is there a Wabbajack card? If no, I'm not interested

If we are going to attack this trailer for imitating things it should definitely be for the blatant thematic and stylistic rip off of the opening Epilogue narration from Fellowship of the Ring.
