E3 2016: Crash Bandicoot is the Newest Skylander in Imaginators

Crash has been spending time in Ghost Recon Wildlands

I like this design for Crash, looks a lot like the original game's artwork but feels a little more modern (the jeans instead of baggy blue shorts, mostly). Will be fun to play him in Skylanders when I pick it up for my little sister later this year, the series has been a great way for us to bond despite our roughly 20 year age gap. (she's 9, I'm 28)

Crash being added to it gives me another thing to share with her from my childhood which is cool.

Is this really what people want in a modern take of what Crash looks like in modern times because the only thing that came to mind when I saw this thing was euthanasia

...Well, I'm excited for the Crash Bandicoot remasters at least. 2 & Warped are still brilliant.

Crash's design here kinda looks like the mascot-style costume they had in the old commercials. I'm into it.

This seemed like throwing a couple pennies to the Crash fans. They know there has been social outcry for new Crash, and decide to jump on that hype in the least expensive way.

The Skylanders part is just as exploitative as amiibo. I'm really excited for the Remasters if they do what MS did to Halo with the exact same game under the hood, but a dramatically better coat of paint.

If it turns out to be just uprezed crap then I'm out.

@belowstupid: yeah I agree. I think they could have used something other than the E3 stage to announce the remasters though. People were going nuts for what looked like a new game.
