Looks like Brad will be happy since the developers confirmed on the ign livestream that this is a sequel and NOT a reboot or re-imagining, hence why they used the frankisback hashtag.

What confuses me about this whole thing is that (spoilers for DR3?) Chuck Greene shows up at the end of DR3 and looks pretty goddamned old. And wasn't Frank West already older than Chuck? Regardless, I'm extremely stoked for more Willamette and Frank West.

This looks more like the direction of dead rising 3, I was really hoping for a dead rising 1/2 type of game 3 was so ridiculously easy I didn't die once and only came close to dying once the whole game.

Yeah, I'm hopeful. Dead Rising 1 and 2 were actually hard as balls and really forced you to get to know the layout of the area, and experiment with weapons and secrets to stand a chance. Dead Rising 3 was just kind of an open world game with a timer so long you can just ignore it.
