I really loved FFXV starting out. The roadtrip feel is real. It felt so natural and fun. But, as I approached the latter half of the game, I came to really resent how shallow the whole world and story felt. So all this just disappoints me even more. It's a universe of half-baked products for a universe they couldn't flesh out over 10 years. I hope that at some point I can go back and enjoy the chapters focusing on the the other 3 guys. I'm not sure I will ever be willing to revisit their updated chapter 11. =\

@munnyshh: It's real quick now, actually. You can choose between Noctis' route or Gladio's. With the buffs to Noctis' equipment, you can pretty much run through it. Gladio's route is like 20 minutes of traditional combat and short cutscenes then you get dumped into the last section of Noctis' route.

I'm not as disappointed with the back half of the story as most people seem to be, but I can totally get the criticisms. I went in expecting to have a journey with the boys rather than a traditionally-grand FF story so I guess the difference in expectation and perspective did a lot for me.
