E3 2017: Pictlogica Final Fantasy Is the Reason to Keep Your 3DS

This is a good thing. I want this thing.

Ohhhh I can get down with this. I love the classic-style picross.

Release date's not too far away, maybe this will be the thing that gets me into Picross.

This looks so good. I don't speak or read japanese though. Was there a release date in that video? is it Japan only?

Next month in Japan. All of the Jupiter picross games have eventually come out here though, so there's hope.

Looking up info on this, the iOS/Android versions were Japanese-exclusive when they released in 2013. Hope this doesn't fall to the same fate.

There's a lot of final fantasy V in there... (reaches for wallet).

This is a f2p download on the e-shop, so it really seems like it's just a port of the mobile version. Would be cool if either version eventually made it over into English.

I played the mobile version of this, and it was kind of a bummer. The actual picross puzzles are only a portion of the game. The parts where you fight monsters using a 5x5 picross grid didn't scratch the same itch.
