E3 2018: An In-Depth Look at the Weather & Destruction in Just Cause 4

Just go full Mercenaries already!

I'm worried that this just looks like Just Cause 3 with tornadoes. I loved JC3 (not sure where all the weird sour attitudes about it came from on this site all of a sudden), but this doesn't feel like the leap we had between each game. JC2 was vastly improved from 1, and 3 was a graphical/gameplay overhaul from 2.

This, however, comes off as Just Cause 3: Weather Edition. The trailer even features the same vertical fuel tanks, giant ball fuel tanks, and radar dishes from 3. I really hope they've made meaningful changes here, but I'm not feeling super jazzed about it right now.

I need to see some actual gameplay of this before I make my mind up about it.

From the unnecessary online integration causing insane/inconsistent load times, lack of any multiplayer, and it's continued massive framerate drops on consoles.

@gigabomber: Not to be that guy but its just fine on pc (performance wise) even on my 5 year old pc and there is multiplayer that was "officially" made by modders and blessed by avalanche, heck even 2 has multiplayer on pc.

That being said I hope this game is more like 2, 3 just didn't have the same feeling as 2. I'm trying to finish 3 but it gets repetitive. And the shite vehicle handling doesn't help anything either.

Im really wondering about the map size in this one. Their website says "Enjoy 100 square kilometres of exotic playground, from rainforest to desert, via snowy mountain peaks."

...but...

JC1 is 1,025 km2

JC2 is 1,035 km2.

JC3 is 2,025 km2

Maybe its just a typo and its supposed to be 1000 square kilometers which would put in line with the rest of the series.
