E3 2018: Sable Is a Game You Just Have to See

This trailer is a real mind trip. You see this stuff happening, clearly in real time, but it's still hard to believe it's happening.

Looks fancy, but I couldn't help notice clipping on the character's pants near the end of the trailer.

Ooh, proof of what colors can do for a low poly aesthetic. It looks like a Moebius comic.

This honestly makes me a little angry. There's taking inspiration from something and then there's this: blatantly copying an art style, in this case the seminal work by Moebius, or Jean Giraud, without any acknowledgement. Add in a sprinkle of Hyper Light Drifter and Journey and you get this game.

Arcane Kids 4 Life

The music doesn't match the art style which doesn't match the environment. I think I see what they're trying to do though.

Being all the way Jean Giraud art style is intriguing if a bit derivative but it's enough get me to follow this game

Wow, okay, this really does have a cool und unique look to it.

Yeah this is Moebius as fuck, and I'm pretty into it. The driving looks great, but some of the stuff I've seen on foot doesn't look like it'd feel that good. Some choppy-looking animations as well. I thought it was a design choice, but then there are animations here that are quite smooth in comparison.
