SEEKERS OF TRUTH GO!!!

To get the most enjoyment out of the game, the day you should finish the new dungeon is 12/22.  Before then and you'll miss out on SL time, after that and you'll miss a special scene.

Posted by FluxWaveZ

lol, at about 14:30 Jeff said: "Imagine little kids with Personas?"  Well, Ken from Persona 3 says hi.

Duder, it's NOT over!

Rofl, when mocking Kanji, Jeff sounded like Brad Sherwood.

Okay, nobody mention how Charlie rides a dinosaur through pleasure town.
Posted by Zalzargahoughanstine

Maybe I'm misremembering the early parts of the game, but at 8:30 when Yosuke says that the other went into the TV to look for Teddy, I seem to remember that only Charlie could go into the TV and that everyone else had to have Charlie to go in.... of course I could be wrong, in which case I'm sorry.
Posted by Happy
@Zalzargahoughanstine: They couldn't until they got their persona. I seem to remember Yosuke mentioning that he tried and he could stick his hand in the TV by himself after he got his own Persona.

Yes, another long episode!  ^__^

Good episode, Investigation team go!

Also, I hope you guys figure out the trick to getting the true ending. I know it's been posted, I'll just say it might not be the best idea to go home on your last night in town.

I'll second what others have said.

Try not to rush to the conclusion too much, as catching the suspect fully fast-forwards time so you can no longer do your own thing. You'll know when to kick back a bit and grind a bit, tie off some social links and try and wait until the last couple of days (12/22 is the last day).

To anyone who's seen it, does the Midnight Channel remind you of "Videodrome"?

PERSONA!!
Seekers of truth, GO!!

Jeff and Vinny didn´t seem to understand why Namatame threw people in the TV to save them...

The way I see it, Namatame thought that there´s a killer in the real world, and when he discovered his hand went into the TV he figured that Mayumi gave him teh powah, and now the TV is the only safe place, because obviously nobody else could know about it, and he is special like that.

The killer goes in for the kill, BOOM, the victim has disappeared. The killer obviously being an average joe who doesn´t know anything about the Midnight Channel.

That´s what I got from it anyway.

Shiit, Detective Gerstmann is all up on this case! Can't wait for the next few episodes... this is getting good.

The "all rumors will eventually become true" was actually one of the main plot points of Persona 2: Eternal Punishment.

Getting interesting! want tomorrows episode now, but when will then be now? soon!

Posted by Vect

Might be me, but I seem to have trouble getting the episode to start.

When I click Play (I do Low Quality) the timer still remains 00:00. I tried it for other ER videos, which work. Not sure if it's because it's newly loaded or because it's just particularly slow and I'm impatient...

So close to uncovering the truth! Even though you guys seem to have a pretty good understanding of what's going on by now, also don't be so quick to jump to conclusions. If something doesn't make any sense right now, don't worry it's not meant to - they'll explain it eventually. Just stay the course.

good ep, a lot of stuff to think about.

Isn't Chie so cute when she makes inane comments on the situation? <3

Nice episode.  The whole investigation has really hooked me and drawn me in.  It's seems pretty well thought out with only a few leaps in logic thus far, though Namatame's slight insanity explains much of even that.

Funniest part of the episode was Vinny's impersonations of Igor and Margaret stopping because 'obviously' they were at a drive-thru and fancied some whoppers.  I mean, they must get hungry sitting in that limo for all eternity.

Posted by Turambar
@RagingLion: The few leaps in logic that Vinny and Jeff brought up, like how Namatame started thinking to put people in the TV, as well as how the midnight channel works will all be revealed later on as well, so it should all end fairly satisfactorily with no loose ends.

After watching the recent episodes I also think that Jeff knows what will happen. He has beaten the game for sure... and Vinny probably knows too.

I'm pretty damn sure Jeff knows who it is. Not sure about Vinny. When Jeff said "There's just one principle character who has been in this house that we don't have a social link with..." he gave it away. "
Thats just the law of the conservation of characters coming into effect.

I had a Black Mamba energy drink once. I thought it was WAAY to sweet.
Also, Little kids with Personas: Meet Ken
And Yukari's where it's at and then some.

I cant wait to see Jeff and Vinny's reaction to the real killer. Shit Bricks? Maybe?

Edited by ExitDose

"What? Is he crippin'?"

Vinny's best line in the entire run.

If Namatame explained his story accurately, I don't know how they could explain the logical leap he made by deciding that throwing people into the TV would protect them.  The only explanation that would explain it adequately to me is some kind of mind control that Nametame isn't aware of.  Otherwise, it feels like a detail they glossed over to push the story forward.  He jumped to that conclusion too conveniently in my opinion.

Turambar is right.  It'll all be explained, including any leaps to conclusion you think took place.

I'm looking forward to that, then.  It's the only thing that's nagging me about this episode at this point.
