Ho. Lee. Shit. This game still looks fucking incredible.

The audio sync with the mouth speaking animation seems better now.

Anyone else becoming more turned off by the faces every time you see it?

Story, music and animation looks fantastic.

It would be nice to see facial capture with performance capture. Some of the characters seem a little too stiff. It might be a little costly, but I think it would work out really well.

The sad thing about this is that all this acting work just makes me notice the low poly count etc. more. I wonder how it would look and feel with a good PC version or if we had moved on to the next console generation "on time".

The facial capture of the characters is very impressive technology.
 
The problem is, it places the visuals right smack dab in the middle of the uncanny valley. It's ironic that other games have much WORSE facial animations, and are SO much more believable because of it.
 
All I see when I watch this is the technology as opposed to the characters & story.

This seriously could represent a major milestone in the progression of this medium. Or maybe it will blow. I sincerely hope that it will be the former.

I can't look at the main character and not see Ken Cosgrove

Man, a static max payne face may of suited the models better i'm afraid may isn't much time to do drastic changes. :S
 
looks reallllly neat all said though, i thought there we're evil turks in l.a noire.

I really like the setting, and the story seems neat; however, I am not too keen on the character models.

I love the setting and the mood. They nailed the music and pacing in that trailer. 

Yea, I still hate the noire theme.  I can only hope they have a guy who uses the word "see" way too much.  As in, Now look here sseee!!!

Should be good. Nice to see a decent game coming out of AUSTRALIA for a change! Bioshock doesn't count :p

uncanny valley!

no PC version as usual.  still looks amazing.  guessing ps3 version is gonna be worse looking and worse performing just like RDR, but luckily i'll have my xbox by may.

The scope of the uncanny valley just got bigger.

The music, the dialouge, the tone, judging by this trailer they nailed it. My expectations are officially sky high for this game. Hopefully it will surpass them like Red Dead Redemption did.

You gotta accept that Rockstar is the brand. Even if the developer is different they are still the Flashing Star that draws the crowd.  "
