Dust: An Elysian Tale is by one of the character designers for Jazz Jackrabbit 2. He was apparently animating a feature-length Elysian Tale movie at one point, all by himself even, but decided to make it an XBLA game instead.

DUUUUUUSSSSST! Seriously what you guys said about Dust: an Elysian Tail sent chills through me. It's my most anticipated game by far. Why no new footage though? Are you guys not allowed to show it?

I totally forgot Dust: An Elysian Tail was a thing. Last time I heard about it was in 2008. Gorgeous 2D art plus a Metroidvania structure? Yes please. The character design is what it is, but it does look fantastic. Here's hoping it's in 1080p.
