Oh how fast the summer goes, the last summer, one might think.

Well this was unexpected. Since I'm unable to sleep I figured I kill some time watching some old GB videos and, in the process I've stumbled upon an old comment section. I discovered that I am not the first to arrive here in this little forgotten section of the internet. For there are two, maybe three, people fighting to see who shall be the last person standing to claim the title of Last Commenter. A battle that, apparently, has raged for many years.

However, as time passed the combatants became quite fond of one another and look forward when former rivals "challenge" them. This place is no longer a battleground, but a sanctuary for them to bond and regale each other with stories of their lives.

I dare not attempt to ruin this kinship, this safe haven to old friends. So I left and vowed to never return. Though I will never set eyes on them again, I do hope that this place will forever be a home for their friendship.

I appreciate your enthusiasm CrazedBlueMoon, but unfortunately I was doing the exact same thing on the same day, and must claim my rightful title.

How many of these exact situations do you guys think exist on the internet? Where people have bookmarked a specific page and are in a never-ending battle with a small group of people over who will have the last post of all time, I mean. Life update, I got a new job and have been with my girlfriend for three and a half years.

We started this before I even met her. Crazy.

Also, someone on the staff is bumping old videos up to the frontpage. I hope this doesn't happen to this video.

@karlpilkington: lovely to hear. Im now not only head of chemical management but also teamleader for the water analysis lab. Nice bump in duties and pay. Also, i met a girl as well! Only been going out for a month but ive got a good feeling about this one. I look forward to quoting this in three years saying i was right.

Life update, I just trimmed the biggest poison ivy vine I've ever seen in my life without realizing it, and got the stuff all over me while I was wearing flip flops and shorts. This will probably be unpleasant.
