Guardians of Middle-Earth Crams LOTR Into Your MOBA

This is interesting strictly from being the first straight up DOTA game to come out on a console. There's obviously been dota likes before (monday night combat ans that 2d one that's name I can't remember).
 
It'll be interesting to see how a straight up dota game translates to consoles. That said, they haven't shown anything of this yet to make us believe it'll be anything but mediocre. The animations are no where near good enough to use a "quick half second gameplay cuts!" kind of trailer and expect it to sell the game. They need to release something that shows off some more extended kind of scenes. A team battle, maybe even a bit of laning.

I remember when Monolith made scary first person shooters. Those were the good times....sigh

Dota is really one of the current fads that get older and older by endless repetition. The brown shooter of its genre.

I've never played a MOBA, so explain to me why this looks terrible to everyone.

I had to laugh when "DESTROY ENEMY TOWERS" popped up on screen. I can't remember the last time I saw something in a trailer that's more mundane presented as being so awesome.
