I haven't enjoyed Halo since the first game on the PC. But the graphic switching feature is certainly stunning to behold. One more game to get if I ever buy a 360, I guess.

@beeftothetaco: There will be both. It will be an option if you want to make a custom game and there will be a matchmaking mode included in the title update that has the classic pistol in it for sure. So, not replacing just adding it as another of the many options in Reach multiplayer.

Damn, that is so fun to look at. What a cool little feature! I think it's one case where I would find myself using it back and forth all the time. It looks so great, but the old blocky blurry textures also look kind of fun still!

Technically... this is only 4 years worth of advances! - By which i mean, this is how Halo CE would have looked had it been released on the x360 in 2005... all they are doing is using the extra processor power to increase the polygon count!

Imagine how good this could actually look if Microsoft had bothered to release a new console this year, instead of dicking around with that Kinect nonsense...

They keep on talking about "bringing back the magnum" in multiplayer. Does this mean that they are replacing the "current" MP magnum? I don't see how they could; if they did, there would be complaints about it's power as soon as the game is released, which would probably lead them to nerfing it or just replacing it with the Reach magnum, which makes this whole "bringing back the magnum" thing seem a little strange to me.

Even though I'm a little iffy on making Guilty Spark brighter, if they keep it creepy enough then I won't mind that particular level. I liked the fog though.

That said, I will fucking buy thisgame. I still love playing CE on my laptop. I will play it with better graphics.

I have a shameful secret, I never beat HALO CE on legendary, I hope there's an achievement for it now, just to see if my skills have improved....

The best part however it being able to relive that awesome feeling of playing campaign with my friends only this time we don't have to be in the same room. Thank you Xbox Live.

It wasn't amazing for me as a PC gamer back then, and it certainly doesn't look like they did much now either.

I'm impressed they're adding navigational help to this particular level. I remember getting turned around more than once and having to trek back across trees and swamps to where I was supposed to go. Man, I finished the original Halo just a few years ago, but I may have to pick this up.

OMG CANT WAIT! Halo CE is one of my favorite games, and one of the first games I ever finished.  

Looks great. I can't wait to play this all over again with my brother. Played at Easter when we were both back home and the gameplay still felt great.

I used Halo 1 multiplayer to juggle warthogs with sticky 'nades. Will I be able to juggle warthogs? This is my main concern.

The thing here is that this has been asked for by fans for a long time. I constantly saw people saying things along the lines of "I would love to play Halo looking like this" With videos of Halo3 and beyond. People loved the story and the setting of the first game, some more then the other games in the series. The pre-orders are high and this will sell very well. One of those occasions where this is very much justified.

Exactly. I'm stoked this is coming, and considering the fact that Halo 4 is also in the works, it seems a little dumb to complain. This is looking to be an awesome experience and fully worth the price. Cannot wait.
