Why would they split up the community like that? Last I checked, there weren't that many people playing the game to begin with. It was enjoying a 4th place, and that was 3 weeks ago. If that keeps up, it will be overtaken by a two year old game by the end of the year. And so it would be smarter to give it to everybody, not just month 1 buyers.

@mnufat17: You're right, but an isthmus can connect peninsulas to the main land, so one could take back a peninsula's isthmus.

I think I got this for free, I am not sure. But really everyone should get these maps for the first year, and then after that you can start charging. Or pull a valve and make a good product and keep giving out DLC so you get a loyal fanbase.

A valid point, were it not for the fact that it is a complete falsehood. There are hundreds of populated servers to choose from.

The video works better than Origin.

BF3stats claims more than 270k people are online right now.

These classic battlefield maps are soooooooo good!

I have to say, as a long-time BF fan I'm also quite pleasantly surprised how fantastic a game mode Rush is. Conquest is still where it's at, but for a nice change up, assaulting bomb sites in rush is exhilarating with a good team. Love this game!

now if only they would bring back the map Dragon Vale to go with Sharqi Isthmus....I would be happy.

Flying Is so easy on consoles, I have no idea how people just go up then crash backwards. I sure do miss circle strafing though.

So many flags... Perfect.

I just feel uneasy shelling out big bucks to play the same maps I had played to death in the past. I love Wake, but I played the shit out of it in 1942, in BF2 and BF1943. I also bought all those games full price. Since they have the whole veterans status program they should give all those people with 1942 and BF2 the maps for free as well. The only reason I didn't get a limited edition is because no one in my area was carrying it and I wanted to just play the game instead of waiting 2 extra weeks.

I'll be buying this next week for sure.

I can't get into any games and the Nvidia drivers are still buggy as shit, so I'm not getting new maps until the game is fixed.

Wake Island and Gulf of Omen still my favorites of the pack.

OH man I wish I could run this on PC at that framerate.

Whoever at DICE makes these trailers needs to earn infinite money.

i dont know how many times i have watched this trailer. but its still by far the best trailer for the game. and even after BF3 has been out for months now. it still gets me excited to play more battlefield.
