Here's a Brief Look at Medal of Honor: Warfighter's Story

After playing Spec Ops The Line Campaign is hard to swallow this Micheal Bay-esque trailer.

Sadly this does nothing for me. And it commits BF3's major sin. Low color saturation, extreme contrast, noisy as fuck picture. No thank you.

If I buy a FPS this season, it's going to be Borderlands 2.

Now if they had scratched my Bad Company itch on the other hand... oh well, guess EA's gonna do horribly this year, and the brass will change by Spring '13. Too bad customers shat on Riccitiello's initial 'all original IP' run, sales-wise.

Next guy's not gonna do a better job, in this climate of mistrust and failure - fucking shareholders.

Man. I get bummed when I see the negativity everyone has for this game. I really liked MoH 2010. It tried to portray a more understated story, based on a real battle. It had a nice sense of plausibility and yes, even the dreaded word authenticity; a huge contrast compared to the Michael Bay antics of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 onwards. MoH 2010 was less a game about facing down some evil bad dude, or getting justice for some perceived outrage; it was a game about both the positive brotherhood between warfighters, and the negative frustrations of modern warfare, the confusion, the mistakes people made, the inadequacy of decisions made by military commanders thousands of miles away from the battlefield.

You think they included the Battlefield 4 beta not as a bonus but as a way of getting people to buy this game?

Yay, another war video game that indirectly says that all Arab looking/speaking people must be evil terrorist, and the only way to stop them is through violence and war. Jeez war games need to grow up! And if they use the madrid bombings as their excuse to just destroy things with the frostbite engine...maaan, that's so messed up!

The complexities of family relations for soldiers in the middle of war can make for good stories, but I doubt there is going to much depth beyond what we've seen in this trailer.

Where the fuck is Bad Company 3.

CGI trailer full of clichés with no actual gameplay, but somehow it's obviously a solid shooter with a heavy tone on story. Where have I heard that one before?

I saw nothing in this video that didn't show this studio is bringing you a solid shooter and a heavy tone on story. Also your jokes aren't as clever as they are in your head.

GR: Future Soldier made me realize that I haven't seen a war game that didn't a) Have a Blackhawk/blackhawk equivalent transport chopper and b)Had that chopper crash dramatically at some point. Even in the damn future people are happy riding along in ancient, fragile helicopters.

This wasn't my favorite Brief Look, I prefer those that have Vincent and (Big) Jeffrey.

this makes me hope that we'll see something like Bad Company 3 eventually. a military shooter campaign with goofballs for squadmates and a story that isn't completely dead serious.

Well that looks boring. Doesn't seem to be anything other than rah-rah-ing.

Dude doesn't want to fight. Dude is personally affected (and survives one hell of an explosion with some bruises). Dude decides to fight, for his families safety of course. Then the killing time starts and doesn't end until everyone on the other side is up to their ass in shrapnel.

Hopefully there's more to it than that, because otherwise I think I'm good.
