Good music choice.

Just hope the PC port is solid.

I remember hoping when the game was revealed that it's going to have four protagonists, GTA V style, with optional co-op, which would be totally awesome biznasty. Yeah.

Just hope the PC port is solid.

Far Cry and AC have been generally very solid on the PC, so was Splinter Cell: Blacklist. I have no idea how in hell they fucked up Watch Dogs as bad as they did.

It's weird - I have yet to play a single Assassin's Creed game and even I feel totally burned out on the AC series.

At first I was like "No, no more. The piracy was cool, but I'm finally done with AC."

But now I kind of want to stab dudes again. If Shadows of Mordor doesn't put me back in that same place, I'm probably playing another AC game.

Didn't Black Flag have pretty severe issues on PC at launch? Assassin's Creed II was also pretty notorious as I recall, but I don't remember the other entries having any real issues beyond Uplay.

The song is cool, but not a great choice for this setting, IMO. Also, I'm so sick of "gameplay" trailers that don't show anyone actually playing the game. I didn't see Alex's snarky comment under the title, though. LOL.

What is the dude in green wearing? Is that John from the cover of Sgt Pepper's? Is this whole thing just setting up the Beatles as Assassins... Fuck! You can have that one Ubisoft.

Yea, the crazy thing about Ubisoft PC ports is that every game is very different for every person.

AC III has negative scaling with multiple GPUs - at the time I was running a crossfire setup and had to disable one card, where even still there were numerous graphical errors.

Blacklist had horrible problems at launch on my setup too, but I heard this was a mostly great port for the greatest majority of people.

FarCry 3 was out of the box broken when being run in dx11 - this eventually got patched.

Watch_Dogs ran beautifully on my machine, even with the "theworse" mod that unlocked all those fancy graphical features. It was when this game came out that I realized it is really hit or miss. I mean Watch_Dogs ran like utter garbage on most computers. There is seemingly no rhyme or reason for guessing how well a Ubisoft game is going to run on your PC.

The troubling thing about this fall though is... Ubisoft Kiev is handling BOTH FarCry 4 and Unity port jobs for the pc. Their past ports have included: Assassin’s Creed III, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.

My point: who the hell knows what we're getting this fall.

The more I see of this, the less impressed I am. If you're showing off some close-ups, get some QA in there--at 1:14, Mr. Red's axe clips straight through the ground. Pedantic, I know, but I'm pretty damn cautious after AC3.

Ubisoft already replied to this saying the Animus translates it for the user into English. Even if it's not a great explanation I'm down with it because French people don't speak English with an accent. Either you go all in with French voice acting and subtitles (which is an option and which I'm considering) or you just let them speak English. Ezio's accent was kind of dumb.

@ghostiet: It took me three times of trying to actually manage to play through Far Cry 3 on the PC. That port is anything but good. I don't know what the hell they take their mouse input from, and the slider minimum isn't low enough. You have to edit the config file because no one in the dev studio could possibly have assumed anyone on the PC would be using a mouse instead of a controller.

Sorry for the rant, but god dammit if I'm not annoyed by last generations PC ports from console. Hopefully this generation will be better, both being AMD APUs and all.

Well this didn't do anything to sell me on this game. I always thought co-op in these games would be awesome, but I'm not even sure what this was.

Probably because you have listened to the crew bitch and moan about the games for usually arbitrary reasons.

Not when they're talking to other French people they don't. Of course they have an accent if they speak another language but that wasn't the point.

Didn't past games always give accents to people regardless of who they were speaking to? So native Italian speakers would speak English with an Italian accent. Or Spanish speakers would speak English with a Spanish accent. Although I do recall in Black Flag a few instances where some Spanish speakers were not translated. It was only a minor part but still.

I just hope this game is varied enough to make it seem fresh.

In a way, if the animus was making the guys talk English, they shouldnt have had an accent, cause they werent foreign dudes speaking English, they were foreign dudes speaking their native language that got translated to English, so technically they shouldnt have accents.

"Most Awaited" - Coca Cola Gaming Zone

"Best Action/Adventure Game" - Coca Cola Gaming Zone

You know this game is going to be great if the Coca Cola Gaming Zone gave the E3 presentation, not just one, but TWO awards.

Wow!

I guess that makes sense. When The Hero of the Two Worlds was in AC3, he was speaking English in a French accent. Not French thru a magical perfect universal translator. It is still off-putting hearing English accents in the French Revolution, I suppose that is what the French VO is for.
