Can't wait.

Haven't bought a Cod in awhile, this will change that.

I'll be real fucking bummed if they actually still use tomahawks in 2025.

And not even some crazy laser subsonic tomahawks. Just tomahawks. Black and slightly futuristic tomahawks.

Posted by jillsandwich

Yeah, this still looks really cool.

Posted by ValiantGrizzly

This looks great. I've been getting back into CoD and I can't wait.

Activision are so fucking stupid. They block this video for copyright on the GB Youtube channel.

Posted by kimj0ngil

haha, activision did a DMCA request on their youtube channel for this video

Fuck. Guess I'm back into playing Call of Duty. Maybe I'll stop next year.

Posted by JBird

I'm so excited, but I cant express how much i want this game to be like black ops and not MW3. I felt like that a 3 yr old gently throwing a soft buttered bread roll could instantly kill me in MW3 whereas in black ops I felt that i had just a few more seconds to react! it was also harder to kill in black ops, which i liked. Then again this impression could be entirely created in my head, in which case it'll be great!

Looks boring as ever.

Posted by Canteu

Activision has blocked this video on youtube. That's awesome.

Posted by FuzzYLemoN

I really don't like the direction they took. Another Cold War game in the late 80s would have been so much cooler.

Posted by GunsAreDrawn

Still looks like crap and sounds like crap, it's Treyarch alright. Seems like they still can't take advantage of what year they are set in either considering the weapons look straight out of 2142.

Posted by iceman228433

No crazy auto aim must be the pc version.

Posted by MonkfishEsq

I wish more people cared about the audio in video games. The sound design hasn't changed one iota since CoD1. Everything sounds just so flat and lifeless. It's just terrible :\

Posted by Luck702

I actually really like Treyarch. They've been actively trying to shake things up with COD and this looks different and new enough to justify a buy. I only wish we could see what they're capable of without Activision looking over their shoulder. Perhaps Treyarch will eventually follow Infinity Ward into independence.

I wonder why this vid is blocked on GB's Youtube channel?

Edited by Cmdc00kie

The way the guy at 1:15 starts playing until the end is the exact reason why I no longer enjoy CoD.

Posted by raikoh05

wow

Posted by Chtasm

Different enough.

Posted by Wandrecanada

Wow look at all that Homefront technology.

Posted by Shisnopi

Is it me or did the gameplay feel slower in this video?

Edited by BadSniper52

Looks different and cool, maybe I'll pick it up.

Posted by Reddy1124

Man, as much as I don't want to play this game...the gameplay STILL looks fun and satisfying as fuck. Dammit Activision you've beaten me again.

Posted by MrMazz

Every year I say I won't buy COD and than I end up buying it =/

Posted by DeviTiffany

@Shisnopi:

Really I thought everything looked WAY faster than anything I'm used to in Call of Duty.

Black Ops is the only modern CoD game I liked for whatever reason and this looks like I might actually enjoy the sequel as well. Seems like Trayarch is the only company working on these games that actually gives a shit and tries to do some new stuff with the series.

DOLPHIN DIVE! I'm in.

Posted by Flacracker

Ok that song is used in a trailer for another game or a popular video online. Where is it from?

Posted by Death_Burnout

Dive To Prone = Where. It. Is. At.

Posted by SilentBob251

It looks like Treyarch is actually trying something new. That's all I ask. This is the first COD game I feel excited for since COD 4.

Posted by jasius

Well campers will be happy, they can deploy a mech and safely sit in their corner untouched.

Also I think they showed quickscoping in that video too, so thats awesome! Can't wait to get quickscopped again!

I was hoping that Blops2 would be as great as blops1 but this looks like a killstreak spamfest, more silly gadgets than ghostrecon online!

Posted by plop1920

Wow, what did they do to the engine?

It looks 5x smoother than the other games, which already look great at a solid 60fps

Posted by OneManX

For all the people who dont like CoD anymore, there seems to be a lot of people with an opinion of COD... seems funny.

Looks smooth and I'm down for another round. I had a ton of fun in BLOPS, I expect BLOPS 2 to be just as good.

Posted by GunsAreDrawn

I don't get why people in the comments are saying they'll buy it when they sound unsure after not liking the previous games. If you're unsure, don't buy it, y'all.

Posted by boxoflawls

i'm ok.

Posted by MeatSim

Think how fast you could make popcorn with that heat ray.

Posted by mak_wikus

I don't like how the weapons sound. Kinda meh, like the franchise lately.

I;m not excited, but it's the first COD game I have even given a second look in a loooong time. I hope it turns out well, the frame rate looks smooth as hell, like, reeeeal smooth

The song is The Crystal Method feat. The Heavy - Play For Real. The Dirtyphonics Remix was in the Shootmania trailer.

Edited by jjnen

What the actual fuck? This is the first time I'm interested in COD since MW2.

Great job, Treyarch.

What was up with showing the competitive match stuff right at the end? I mean, ok. Sure, why not. But there was like no context for it, at all (to me anyway). I don't even know when it's from (E3? CC?)!

Didn't the announcer mention multi-team TDM? As in more than two?

Posted by SSValis

There's just so much stuff going on that it's hard to really appreciate any of it.

I think the series needs a new engine though.

Where's Jeff and Ryan. I watched the whole fucking thing. WHERE ARE JEFF AND RYAN DAMMIT!!!!!

Edit: So am I the only one that got that image of Jeff eating a Sandwich and Ryan both staring at something (a screen?)

Posted by EricNStuff

I appreciate that they rendered it at 60fps.

The game looks nice, admittedly.

How many times can a man fall for Call of Duty?

I've been fairly down on the franchise for awhile. I've bought all of them and my play time has severely decreased. I think in MW3 I played a total of 5 matches online. Yet there is something about this game that has me reinvigorated. The core gameplay for the franchise has always been solid. Sure it's an arcade shooter and shouldn't be taken as a military simulator, but it does what it sets out to do and does it well. The problem is the yearly iterations with almost no discernible difference. This seems to be adding many new elements that, in the very least, will give a fresh take on the series and possibly give an overhaul to the stale multiplayer. That's why I have hope.

Posted by BearSpark

Boring COD rubbish. They seem to be trying to hard and failing at what they're trying to achieve. I'll stick to BF3 and other worthwhile games.
