I personally have faith in irrational. I think they will deliver a game 'more' open than the first bioshock game. Sure, it's not going to be skyrim in scope, however I am firmly of the belief that all those interconnected rails are housing a huge hub. Furthermore, the weaponry and gadgets - those things that made deus ex and bioshock games that embraced a variety of playstyles - you know, options? Those will exist as well.

And yes, we watch the trailer and see some dude shooting dudez. However anyone who has ever seen Levine speak - they won't be saying "it's like cod". That's like saying todd howards next game will be a rails dragon riding simulator. Sure, elder scrolls has dragons. However if you watched a new elder scrolls game trailer in a few years from now and it looked like a 'rails dragon riding simulator'. Any knowledge of what elder scrolls game are - why todd howards games sell so well - would instantly cause you to dismiss that notion.

Put some wisdom into what bioshock infinite is going to be. The very REASON why it's so exciting is because it looks so scripted. The fact that a open game looks scripted, is fantastic. Not terrible.

As long as it is as well made/atmospheric as BioShock, but overall a deeper game. Doesn't have to go full SS2, but at least building on stuff from BioShock 2, Deus Ex: HR, Dishonored, and the like.

AMAZING !!!! I hope this game isn't too demanding, because i plan on getting this for pc. i have a GTX 260 and an old quad core processor.

If it runs on console it will run on that PC, as your PC is drastically more powerful than the consoles are.

I doubt it will be that much more demanding than BioShock 1 or 2 if it's using the same engine.

It's not using the same engine. The first 2 games used a highly modified version of Unreal 2, while Infinite uses a highly modified version of Unreal 3.

Well it's still going to run fine, it's only Unreal, that engine is so easy to run these days I can't think of any games that are demanding from that engine unless you're running with PhysX on and SSAO. (like Arkham City)

I was just rewatching this trailer and came upon this comment and laughed. I guess it was a little bit demanding after all, even if it was due to some weird bugs with the engine they didn't iron out.
