How Does Stealth Work In Deus Ex: Human Revolution?

I think I'll just shoot everyone and smash through walls.

I still cannot tell in any respect if I am going to enjoy this game or not. Nonetheless, I feel obligated to get it because of how much I liked the first game, for as many problems as that had.

I cannot wait to get my hands on this game.

You can use stealth to just bypass enemies, no need to kill/stun everyone (or anyone for that matter) in HR.

Really? That's great news.

At 40 seconds he bends the guy's arm and it makes a snapping noise, but he bends it the right way. Arms are supposed to go like that at the elbow. And then he clonks the guy in the face to knock him out anyway, so what was the point of playing with his arm?

They should have emphasized that you don't need the "Cloaking" power to sneak effectively or be stealthy and quiet. It's an option, but it's use is very limited plus requires many level up points) and you can easily finish whole levels undetected even without using it.

Those french Canadian accents are stealthy.

My boss at work has that accent.  Hearing it does not make me a happy camper.  :/
