I'm surprised by how many people are excited for Mafia 2.  Didn't Ryan say it was garbage when he played it didn't he?

I have to say this game is really shaping up to look good. Just hope the missions and story match the visuals.

Enjoyed the first Mafia, so far the second looks even better.

1. That was most likely a pre build so it may have had bugs etc.

2. Not every game Ryan hates I hate and the other way around.

3. Mafia  seems to be a love it or hate it game judging from the comments on this video. The sequel may well suffer the same fate

I'm looking forward to this for sure.

I enjoyed the first Mafia despite all its massive flaws. The story was great. I've completely lost interest in this one though. I think it's gonna be well ropey and lack that something that makes it worth while. Guess we'll see though.

I didn't think much of this game before seeing this trailer. Now, I am reaallly looking forward to trying it out. Or at least a demo first if there is one.

Demo is August 11th! Thumbs up to 2K Games for actually giving us a taste and hopefully putting my (our?) pessimism to rest.
 
So far though, while I try not to get my hopes up for too many games nowadays, Mafia 2 looks... pretty swanky and groovy.

This game. I want it.

Love the idea of a 500 page script... I'm still jaded by the first game, which was a big disappointment to me, especially the driving.  I probably will give this a rent at the very least. 

I'm hoping this game delivers.

Excitement went from nothing to something at some point last week.

I'm amazingly hyped for this.  Okay, not really, but it shows some promise.

Color me excited for this game.  I love old gangster movies and pretty much everything from this era. 

May have to pick this up.
