Mafia II Goes Boom Boom Boom

oh wow this looks good, love the look of the whole thing, and the great music sure helps too :D

The main character looks like the default character in the first Godfather game. 

Looks great!!  Oh yeah, did you know they've moved the release date to August-October..this is confirmed..Also confirmed, Red Dead Redemption pushed to May 18th

Didn't really care about the game before this trailer.  The city looks really good.  Also, there was some snow out the window in the last few seconds of the trailer.  Would be pretty cool to have the seasons change.

One of the best trailers I've ever seen for a video game.

I was never interested in Mafia 2, but with a trailer that plays the awesome John Lee Hooker, I'm bloody well looking into this!

Trailer looks great but the faces are kind of expressionless.. like they are constantly staring into the void...

Loved the first one, vintage cars added a lot of color to the sandbox-urban-crime subgenre. Not sure enough people experienced the first one, which is a shame. I look forward to seeing what the do with the sequel. Already I'm seeing a lot of humor, cool actions and nice effects.

I think this is probably the best looking open world game that has come from anywhere that isn't Rockstar.  I'm looking forward to this.  Could this be the year of the open world game?  We have this, Just Cause 2, Crack Down 2, and Red Dead Redemption all looking like amazing games, all open world shooters.

Well, the first one was sort of a sleeper hit and still to this day is one of my favorite games of all time. Easily.
Understandably I have HUGE expectatations for this game and I'll be happy if it can do justice to the original and bring something new to the table. (Multipath story being one obvious big change)

I answered this on the first page. Good job. And "Better than GTA III" is pretty damn relative. I personally loved GTA III more than any other game of the time, and when Mafia came out, it was just one long, frustrating mess. But like I said, all this is on the first page. "
