Put this together with Giant Bomb in mind. I cannot wait. So glad to see Kojima back at it again and to have him actually be excited about making this one.

Just when I thought I was kind of over Metal Gear... Kojima is a genius.

Heh. I'm pretty sure "Ground Zeroes" is just a play off "ground zero" and WWII "Zeroes" Japanese aircraft.

I think what they're saying with "Ground Zeroes" is the nameless soldiers or victims at the center of a battlefield or disaster, but first thing that comes to mind when I see Ground zero is 9/11 (even if it's used for any national disaster). That latter could also be what Kojima is saying. In the end, who the hell knows what that guy is trying to say in his titles of his games.

So excited about the tease of an open world metal gear, looks to be like snake eater taken to a whole new level which coincidentally is my favourite of the series. Also the idea of no fail state is very exciting.

A little Kojima flair goes a long way, can't wait to see what he has in store for this one.

I'm hyped cause it continues the story of Peace Walker, which was one of my favorite Metal Gear games.

My friend who is a helicopter pilot in the Navy had to go through that. He said they sign some documents that forbid them from talking about what exactly goes on over there but he did mention that he's pretty sure he drank bleach and hallucinated a lot.

Haven't played any of the portable Metal Gear games but I feel like those names they're dropping were mostly related to those.. correct me if I'm wrong. Either way I had no idea what the hell was going on there, but I'm now more excited for this than just about anything else. Reminds me of what a magical experience playing through MGS4 in the early-ish days of the PS3 was.

Im buying the mgs collection tomorrow so u can be up to date on my big boss knowledge. mgs3 subsistence is the best.

I got no idea what's going on there, but it sure looks nice.

Super Time Force's trailer has ruined me for game trailers now. Kojima's best can't compete with a radical skateboarding dinosaur, and a blue time traveler guy who jumps his bike into a fire and dies, then reappears (and tells a kid to go for the same stunt) because he's a time traveler.

I don't know which I'm more excited about, a new MGS game or not having to look at that fucking chicks arse every time I looked at giantbomb

Well, no, actually, I wasn't waiting, since MGS4 neatly wrapped up your story arc mister Snake, but welcome back anyway. The trailer looks fine, I'm tentatively curious to see where this ends up.

Why? It was really fucking good. A lot of fun, tons of content, stuff MGS games never had before, a Walkman, and you get an achievement for shooting a guy in the ass. Story was pretty damn good too. Never went MGS4 horrible stupid.

The whole time I was like, "there's no way that's real time, is there?" and then it was.

Looks fucking amazing. Also looks like it will be on PS3 and 360 which is nice.

If it's this gen. looks great! If it's next gen.... frame rates a bit choppy, water effects are cool though. Not sure if Snake is an appealing enough protagonist anymore?

@Dan_CiTi: I can't really make informed arguments anymore since it's been so long since I saw gameplay footage, I just remember the quicklook not interesting me at all. Tons of content, as in you can spend a lot of time with the game, doesn't really entice me either I have already too many games I feel like I'll never finish.

Also my PsP broke like a year ago so I would have to get a new one or a Vi- oh wait, wasn't it part of the HD collection and could be gotten separately on PSN to play on the PS3? Hrm, maybe I will pick it up.
