Insecure?  People have to be insecure to note that one is of better quality than the other? People can like what they want. When it comes to quality.. ....BF franchise stomps. I love Mass Effect, so do a lot of people. Still most of us (the non fanboys ofcourse) understand that it is a casual streamlined RPG.  There is no being insecure about it. Thats like calling people who claim Mario is the superior platformer to Sonic insecure. It doesn't take insecurity to comprehend when a game is of lower quality than its contemporaries. MW2 was that game. 

honestly, i see this making bigger numbers than BO, then decline from here. people may like it but I stopped playing COD ofter i sold MW2 a month later.

My multiplayer FPS's are now Red Orchestra 2 and BF3 :)

This doesn't look good at all.  1.  It looks like MW2 and/or Black ops 2.  Pretty much the entire trailer was 3rd person.  The only cool think was the spinning logo. lol

So they added breakable glass, made the textures worse and added some more kill streak options? I was actually kind of looking forward to MW3, but man this trailer makes the game look so underwhelming.

Do you even need to show the multiplayer at this point?

I'm actually glad that neither of the big military shooters look very interesting, Too damn many games to buy this fall as it is.

@sofacitysweetheart: You do realise that all of the MW games are clones from Battlefield 2 (I don't mean Bad Company 2, just in-case you get mixed up) riiiiight?? You know the unlock mechanic etc.. etc.. etc.

I'll still get both, MW3 for the Spec-Ops and singleplayer and BF3 for the multiplayer.

Exactly. It seems the approach they're taking now is the more stupid perks and killstreaks they add the less they have to worry about balancing and making a good competitive shooter. Give me a mosin or kar98k bolt action any day of the week... No scope on it of course.

The multiplayer trailer for Battlefield 3 didn't feel desperate to impress me like this one did. It did it effortlessly.

This could easily just be MW1 or 2 ... Isn't really a great deal between the three which is a shame now, they need to do something.. I'll still get this but i'm hoping BF3 is good enough to compete so i can enjoy both.

Until folks stop buying the same game over and over each year, They will keep adding numbers to it, changing it's name and charging your 60 bucks for it.

Im not going to lie. Sound effects from Call of Duty 1 in there and an orchestral score got me really excited for a moment.

So... more Call of Duty then? Think BF3 is going to be my FPS of choice.

I think this is the year I tire of Call of Duty. I've had a great deal of fun with it since 4, but this just feels old now. I'll probably end up with it at some point, but I'm in no hurry.

i'm sure it will make a killing though... as long as it says CoD on it people will buy it. i'll be too busy playing BF3 anyway

I like how the slow motion seems to be highlighting everything about this game that has been in the series forever. Breakable Glass! Terrible Kill Streaks! Load out Customizations! Shitty graphics! Seriously, though, this game's graphics are dog shit. Looks like a PS2 game.
