More Rocket League DLC Launching This October

Sure I'm down. Also Toon Paint? Cell shading would be cool.

How about some new gameplay elements?

I still play this game every single day. Haven't been so obsessed with a game since...geez...Earl Weaver Baseball for the PC way back when.

I bought the last DLC and I have will have no issue purchasing this even thought I don't care about the content. I just want to support Psionix for crafting an amazingly good game.

Hell yes - buying. These guys made a hell of a game and have my support for a long while - even with MGS/Mad Max/Taken King/FIFA taking up my primary spots atm, I always find a little time to squeeze in one match. Which turns into an hour of matches.

What the hell is with this game? Why is it so good? Why have I been mainlining this game on the daily since it came out? Why isn't it getting old? WHAT IS THIS?!?

I'll buy all future DLC from Rocket League considering they put this out for free on PSN+ and charged only $20 for it on Steam. I dunno...I've played way too much of this game and am so appreciative of it and its creators that buying their DLC packs is the least that I could do.

Does this mean I'll have to get all the items before this DLC comes out in order to get the trophy? Last update added a shit ton and made that trophy even more arduous.

I'm way into this. Also in the camp of "I'll buy pretty much anything to support Psyonix for this awesome game that I can't stop playing." But even so I think some of these cosmetics are pretty nifty. I'm a big fan of that musical "Accelerando" boost trail, will definitely have to give that one a shot.

Also looking forward to details on the "more unusual" maps they mentioned would be coming in the future - I definitely think the core game benefits from it's fixed layout of the pitch, but there's absolutely room for some fun gimmick modes in there too.

Since I got this game for free, I'm certainly going to be getting this to support just how much fun they've provided me. Rocket League is still amazing and I love the developers for continuing to add more content that doesn't significantly alter the gameplay. It lets us get good at the closest thing to a sports game I've liked since Griffball was added to Halo.

Shouldn't that just appear on every online game? Never seen it before.

@leedoo: New gameplay elements will never be in paid DLC for this game, the devs don't want to split the playerbase the way paid mappacks do in conventional MP shooters (an approach I applaud)

@jstaunton: You only need to complete the trophies from the original release to get a platinum. The rest are just to get that overall % higher. That said, it does feel nice to see 100% there.

I'm down for this. Even if it is mainly cosmetic I will buy it to support the devs. I remember playing a demo for their previous rocket car game (too many adjectives to name) and not caring for it, but Rocket League sucked me in way more than I thought it would. Any excuse to keep playing is more than welcome.

Same here. These guys deserve it.

I purchased the first DLC mostly as a support thing, but I don't think I will this. Maybe when some gameplay differences are introduced?
