Something about the voice almost hits an Alex like similarity a few times.

I love the deadpan seriousness with which the narrator calls you "baller."

From the soundtrack I thought I was watching the trailer to a new Spielberg WW2 flick

It's supposed to have everything the "next" (current) gen consoles have this year. Fingers crossed that it's going to get the patches too. They're charging $60 this year instead of $30, so it better.

I really like how they pick this boring game mode and turn it into something relevant.

The tone of this trailer is weird. It's trying to be dramatic but just doesn't work for me.

Is there a mode where I've called next and I go to shoot a few warmup shots while the action is on the far end of the court, and then suddenly there's a fast break and I'm in the way and everyone's mad at me? Because that's my pickup basketball experience in a nutshell.

Oh hell yes, this looks awesome.

Yeah I still got it cause I play the game for hundreds of hours every year and I'll play the game even if there's hella bugs and it never gets patched (just having it be next-gen is worth it for me), but I really hope that they don't neglect to patch the PC version. Still, it's a step up from the past couple years.

Really, really hoping for patches though. The chances of this game shipping without at least one super annoying or game-breaking bug seems slim.

MyPark is where broke NBA players end up panhandling when their playing days are over. The voice over is lame and it's funny a basketball game show almost no gameplay. It is also odd that 2K went through the trouble of creating cities with sparse traffic and no pedestrians.

That was one awkward trailer. And coming right off the awesomeness that was their previous one made it even weirder. This might be a really cool mode, but that was a strange way to sell it...
