If EA hopes to go after 2k this game has to be fucking incredible. I just don't think they can do that

I would've thought EA would be telling/showing us a lot more about NBA Live 14 since they've shelved the past few iterations. Basketball fans have moved to 2K and, for a lot of them, like 2K more and will stick with them.

2K has become rather complacent, their new installment doesn't seem too much a departure and even regressed in a few spots. EA has a good opportunity for a strong comeback and make this very constrained market competitive again. One aspect of the upcoming game they should really improve and push behind is their equivalent of 'my player' mode found in 2K that has become its most important and popular feature.

I hope you're being satirical there, because otherwise you basically just became every guy sitting behind me at the basketball game that I want to punch in the face.

It couldn't be worse than EA's basketball games from the last three years.

lol, still no gameplay huh? I bet everyone moves exactly the same and the only thing they work on is the dribble moves. No defense, no rebounding, etc. I think they will release this year because they can chop up the quality as it being a "launch" title.

They have Action Bronson in the game, that'll be enough for me.

Poor Kyrie. He has the potential to develop into a Top 3 PG, but he can't seem to step onto the court without breaking something.

As far as this trailer goes, the game looks really nice. For the sake of competition, I really hope it does well and gives 2k a reason to step their game up.

I'll get whichever game rates the Raptors higher (comparitively speaking, since EA always gives every team in their sports games 4.5-5 stars/5). So they're just like GB in a way haha

I still don't like the way the graphics look though. I'm hoping Live 14 is at least competitive to make 2k step up their game but so far 2k14 just looks better, and they've shown a lot more gameplay too.
